In the weeks leading up to Treefort we were told about San Francisco’s Tartufi and their live shows.

We were anxiously awaiting this show long before it would even take place. Sadly, when it came to fruition, the walls of the Neurolux, though they tried, could not confine the sounds of Tartufi. The presence echoed within the walls to the point of breaking. The venue echoed with ear-numbing reverberation and lost pieces of Tartufi’s style.

The performance spoke volumes (pun intended) to the abilities this groups has live. Even without the precise audio engineering needed to convey their sound, we could not take our eyes of Tartufi. The Bay Area trio powered through their set with an awe striking wall of sound.
